~に+いく

We use “~にいく” when we talk about going to a place to do something.

We can use “~にくる” and “~にかえる” in the same manner.

Conjugation

① Place+へ+Verbます+に+いく, くる, かえる

たべる→たべます→たべ→たべにいく

(ex) レストランへ ばんごはんを たべに いきました。
I went to a restaurant to have dinner.
